Hey everyone, I thought I'd pose some questions about the aesthetics of the site to you guys.
The site was basically created around the V4 skin that we had on the old site, but I'm wondering if you guys want to see a new skin? The layout of the whole site itself will remain the same (ie, all the boards will be in the same place) but I've been thinking about changing some things up to fit a swampy theme while we're on the woodfall arc of the story. I also want to make everything be on the level of the other sites that are V5 in terms of aesthetics.
Another thing I've been wanting to pose to you guys is the idea of changing the size of avatars. Most other sites have their avvies at 150x150, and the reason I pose this to you is because currently ours is 200x300, and every avatar gets cut off or sized strangely when uploaded.
Just a few ideas, wanted to see what everyone thought before we make any major changes that aren't totally necessary.

Frankly, for the avatars, I prefer to keep it this way, it allows us to see more details compared to a small case with just a face in it.
As for the theme, it would indeed be a good idea. It would also show that the forum is still active and is advancing on the arcs.

Yeah I agree with Axel; it would signify our affiliates that we're updating, active, and are part of a story. I like the comforting color palette that the site currently has but I honestly feel that if we had different color palettes to fit a swampy theme then it'd help us generate ideas for roleplaying. If you want any recommendations on sites whose aesthetics I find really pleasing then send me a PM - I don't want to post here because it'll look like I'm advertising and whatnot.

I hate to just reply to say "I agree with everyone else!" but...
I agree with everyone else! Seriously, though, I think a skin update would be a) fun and b) a good way to say "Hey guyses, we're still alive and kicking!"; also, I do think that skins motivate creativity. Avatars are fun this way! I like the big ones, because they allow for more detail. (You can even pop in some stuff that isn't actually part of the original avatar image to signify kinda what your character is/does... did that make any sense?) Well, I guess my votes are for new skin and same avatar size.

If you would have listened when I told you months ago that the avatars were 150x300 because V5 pro-boards makes it harder by limiting the width without doing a large overhaul then you wouldn't have any problems.

Ditto to all that.
Now I believe it is time I made my suggestion for once.
For example: Loot Items
Loot Items are found by exploring areas and killing monsters. Most often you can find them in dungeons, where as some are very hard to locate and are therefore Rare.
